How We Work:

A Structured Path to Stronger Leadership

Every organization is different, but challenges around clarity, expectations, and accountability are rarely unique.

The key is determining exactly what’s happening in your organization through our focused diagnostic approach, then customizing the path forward to meet your unique needs.

Step 1: Leadership Diagnostic

We start with a focused leadership diagnostic to identify where gaps are showing up across your organization.

This process surfaces patterns around clarity, expectation-setting, and accountability—so we’re addressing the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Step 2: Define the Path Forward

Based on what we uncover, we develop a clear, practical plan tailored to your organization.

This ensures that any work we do is focused, relevant, and directly aligned with what your team actually needs.

Step 3: Build Consistency & Capability

From there, we implement the work in a way that builds real, lasting leadership capability—not just short-term improvement.

This may include a combination of structured programs, targeted workshops, or ongoing advisory support.

What YOUR Path Can Include:

Leadership Transformation Program

A structured, multi-session program designed to build consistent leadership capability across clarity, expectation-setting, and accountability using our CEA LEADERSHIP MODEL™.

Targeted Workshops

Focused sessions on specific areas such as performance management, communication, core values, or leadership alignment. Content and frequency are customized to your organization's needs.

1:1 Coaching & Mentoring

Direct support for leaders navigating specific challenges or looking to strengthen their approach. Frequency and focus are customized based on your needs.

A Tailored Path Forward

Following the diagnostic, we determine the most effective path forward based on what your organization actually needs. This may include a combination of a Leadership Transformation Program, targeted workshops, and 1:1 advisory support—used together or independently to ensure the work is focused, relevant, and impactful.

Why This Approach Works

Most organizations don’t struggle because they lack solutions—they struggle because those solutions aren’t consistently executed.

This approach ensures that we’re not just introducing new ideas, but building the clarity and consistency needed to make them work in practice.

  • Clearer communication and fewer repeated conversations
  • Greater confidence among leaders at all levels
  • Lower turnover rates
  • Higher levels of employee engagement

"Being selected to attend these sessions made me feel valued as an employee. It signaled that the company was willing to invest in my development, and that my growth and ideas mattered. That sense of recognition had a meaningful effect on my overall experience—it increased my engagement and strengthened my connection to the organization."

About Renée:

I’ve spent my career working inside growing organizations where something felt just slightly off—but was difficult to name.

Teams were working hard, but not always aligned. Leaders were capable, but inconsistent. The same issues would surface again and again, often addressed in the moment but never fully resolved.

Over time, it became clear that these weren’t isolated problems—they were patterns. And more often than not, they traced back to gaps in clarity, expectations, and accountability.

With more than 20 years of experience across retail, operations, and employee engagement—and a consistent track record of building stronger teams and improving performance—I’ve focused my work on addressing those gaps directly.

Along the way, I noticed something else: in many organizations, people and culture work was treated as separate from the core drivers of the business—something valuable, but not always prioritized in the same way as revenue and profitability.

In reality, the opposite is true. How leaders communicate, set expectations, and follow through is what ultimately drives performance, consistency, and results.

In my leadership roles, I led initiatives centered on employee engagement and leadership development, helping leaders become more consistent in how they operate day-to-day. The result wasn’t just better culture—it was stronger performance, clearer alignment, and more confident leadership across teams.

Today, through Terese Advisory, I work with organizations to do that same work more intentionally. Using the CEA Leadership Model™ (Clarity, Expectation, Accountability), I help leaders understand what’s actually happening, define expectations explicitly, and follow through consistently.

This work isn’t about introducing new ideas—it’s about building the skills required to apply them, day-to-day, in real situations.

Because strong leadership doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built through clarity, consistency, and thoughtful communication.

What It's Like Working with Renée:

I had the opportunity to participate in development workshops led by Renée, and they were genuinely some of the most memorable experiences in the workplace. One focused on Core Values and the other, Performance Management. Each session was thoughtfully designed, highly engaging, and each created a space where people felt comfortable contributing and reflecting. Rather than feeling like a routine training, the workshops felt intentional and energizing—they encouraged growth and collaboration among all individuals in the room.

Being selected to attend these sessions made me feel valued as an employee. It signaled that the company was willing to invest in my development, and that my growth and ideas mattered. That sense of recognition had a meaningful effect on my overall experience—it increased my engagement and strengthened my connection to the organization.

Both of Renée’s workshops reinforced the idea that development, collaboration, and employee engagement were more than just talking points—they were actively being practiced. What stood out most was the care and excitement that Renée brought to each workshop. It made the sessions feel meaningful and solidified my positive view of the company’s leadership and culture.

CEA Leadership Transformation Program™

The CEA Leadership Transformation Program™ is a structured, multi-session experience designed to build consistent leadership capability across your organization.

This work focuses on three core areas: clarity, expectation-setting, and accountability—the foundation of how leadership actually operates day-to-day.

Most leadership challenges aren’t caused by a lack of effort or intent. They stem from inconsistency in how leaders communicate, define expectations, and follow through. This program addresses those gaps directly.

Rather than relying on theory or one-time training, each session is built around real situations your leaders are actively navigating. Leaders bring current challenges into the room, and we work through them together—building practical skill and stronger decision-making in real time.

Over the course of the program, leaders learn to:

  • Identify issues earlier and more accurately
  • Set clear, explicit expectations
  • Reinforce those expectations consistently
  • Follow through with accountability
  • Navigate difficult conversations with confidence

The format is flexible to fit your team’s schedule, but the outcome remains the same: stronger, more consistent leadership across your organization.

This is not a passive training experience. It is a working process that requires engagement, reflection, and application between sessions—because real change doesn’t come from learning something once. It comes from applying it consistently over time.

For most organizations, this program follows the CEA Leadership Diagnostic™, ensuring that the work is focused, relevant, and aligned with the specific needs of your leadership team.

The CEA Leadership Development Path™ Workshops:

How Workshops Fit Into Your Path:

Workshops within the CEA Leadership Development Path™ are designed to reinforce and deepen leadership capability over time. While the Leadership Transformation Program builds the foundation, workshops allow organizations to focus on specific areas, address emerging challenges, and continue developing leadership consistency as the business evolves. Each workshop is grounded in real situations—not theory—so leaders are actively working through the challenges they’re facing, not just learning about them. We offer a combination of pre-designed and custom workshops, depending on your organization’s needs.

Adaptive Management Workshop:

The Adaptive Management Workshop helps leaders adjust their approach based on the individual, the situation, and the context. Many leadership challenges stem from a one-size-fits-all approach—treating every employee, situation, or performance issue the same. This session builds the awareness and skill needed to recognize when to lean in, step back, provide structure, or allow autonomy. Leaders leave with a more flexible, effective approach to managing different personalities, experience levels, and performance needs—resulting in stronger alignment and fewer breakdowns.

Core Values Discovery Session Workshop:

The Core Values Discovery Session is designed to define or refine the values that guide how your organization operates. This work goes beyond creating aspirational language. Together, we develop clear, behavior-based definitions that align your leadership team on what each value actually looks like in practice. The result is a set of values that can be consistently communicated, reinforced, and used to guide decisions—strengthening culture and reducing ambiguity across the organization.

Custom Workshops:

Some challenges require a more focused, tailored approach. Custom workshops are designed specifically around your organization’s needs—whether that’s addressing a particular leadership challenge, aligning a team, or developing a specific skill set. These sessions are built using your real scenarios, team dynamics, and business context, ensuring that the work is immediately relevant and directly applicable.

Executive Advisory & 1:1 Leadership Coaching

Not every leadership challenge fits neatly into a program or workshop.

Executive Advisory and 1:1 Leadership Coaching provide space for leaders to think through real situations, make stronger decisions, and apply what they’ve learned more consistently in day-to-day leadership.

This work is grounded in what’s actually happening—not hypothetical scenarios. Leaders bring current challenges into the conversation, and we work through them together using the same clarity, expectation, and accountability framework that underpins all of this work.

Executive Advisory

Executive Advisory is designed for CEOs and senior HR or People leaders—those who often don’t have an internal counterpart to think through complex leadership decisions objectively.

At this level, leadership can become isolating. Decisions carry broader impact, competing priorities are constant, and there is often no clear space to step back and think through challenges without bias or constraint.

For CEOs, this work focuses on navigating leadership dynamics, strengthening alignment across the organization, and reducing the need to step into day-to-day execution.

For HR and People leaders, this work goes beyond traditional coaching. It focuses on developing the capability to operate as a true Transformational HR Leader—someone who not only supports the business, but actively shapes how leadership, culture, and performance operate across the organization.

These conversations provide structure, perspective, and clarity—supporting stronger decisions and more consistent leadership at the highest levels.

1:1 Leadership Coaching

1:1 Leadership Coaching is designed for leaders across the organization who are responsible for managing people and driving performance.

This work focuses on strengthening how leaders communicate, set expectations, and follow through—particularly in situations that feel unclear, inconsistent, or difficult to navigate.

Leaders bring real scenarios into each session, and we work through them together—building the ability to:

  • Address issues earlier and more directly
  • Set and reinforce expectations clearly
  • Navigate difficult conversations with confidence
  • Lead with greater consistency across different situations

Over time, this creates stronger judgment, clearer thinking, and more effective leadership in day-to-day execution.

How This Work Happens

This is not traditional coaching focused only on reflection.

It is structured, practical, and directly connected to the work leaders are doing every day.

Sessions can be conducted in person or virtually and are often structured as ongoing engagements to provide consistent support over time.
